About this Role

As a frontend developer at Ory, you’ll be responsible for creating the best possible experience for users of the Ory Network. You’ll apply your knowledge of UI/UX principles to create software that other developers enjoy using.

Key Tasks and Deliverables

Write code for web-based applications, creating fast, easy-to-use, high-volume traffic applications.
Develop, create and improve code in an agile environment within the team.
Share your knowledge and experience with colleagues and customers.
Optimize web applications to maximize speed, scale, and support for diverse clients and devices.
Create readable and maintainable code, and ensure the highest quality by providing E2E test support.
Build libraries, frameworks, and documentation empowering developers around the globe.
Design and implement simple intuitive user interfaces in partnership with designers.
Create frontend experience by interacting with backend systems.

Minimum Requirements

You studied Computer Science, or a related technical field, or have equivalent practical experience.
You’re a web-native developer well-versed in TypeScript or JavaScript
You have knowledge of React or similar frameworks like Angular or Vue
You´ll take ownership and provide support for other developers
You care about the user experience and you know how to put this into practice
You meet location criteria: Munich, Germany (or remote in Germany, Poland, Central Europe)
